Task: LAS-HEC-ELY-CAL-LAS

Notes: Same triangle but with dogleg. Doglegs of up to 5% of the total task distance are allowed with no penalty. Your distance and speed are calculated from the actual declared distance, not the triangular distance. The way to pick these tasks is to 1) pick the triangle, 2) add the doglegs ensuring they add no more than 5% to the task. Having declared the extra turning point you must, of course, go round it. The introduction of the ability to dogleg is primarily to ease task setting around airspace, but you may be able to use them to your advantage in other ways. If you want to go for records, remember it is the triangle that counts (ie. in this case it is a 519.7k triangle).
