My first 300km inside Wales and what a day, possibly the best gliding conditions I've ever experienced. Cloudbase up to 6500 amsl and largely reliable and strong thermals as long as you stayed high, which is what I tried hard to do. The scenery around Vrynwy across Snowdonia was breathtaking in the crystal clear skies - I'll be living off this flight for some time to come. :)
