Abandoned declared task of Snowdon O/R as sea air had already pushed well inland by time I got just past Llanidloes. So decided to enjoy the day just flying around and what a day it turned out to be. Down in the Cotswolds base was an amazing 7500ft and my vario was making sounds I'd never heard before as it hit 7.5 on the averager. But then it all changed as I got back to TAL. It had overdeveloped and spread out and not wanting to end my flight I scrapped around waiting for it to melt away. Sure enough it did and I was able to extend my flight down to Sennybridge, etc. Amazing day.
